These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your membership with ExpertlyGerman (“we”, “us”, or “our”), operated by ExpertlyMedia.
By registering for the ExpertlyGerman membership, including the €1 trial period, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1.1. We offer different membership tiers (e.g., Basic, Premium, Annual), which grant access to exclusive content, including podcast exercises, premium podcasts, and Zoom meetups.
1.2. We offer a €1 trial period, which gives you access to the selected membership tier for a limited time (e.g., 7 or 14 days, as stated at the time of sign-up).
1.3. After the trial period ends, you will automatically be charged the regular membership price associated with the plan you selected, unless you cancel before the trial period ends. This charge will be recurring (monthly or annually, depending on your selection), unless cancelled in accordance with Section 5.
1.4. You can cancel your membership at any time via your account dashboard on our website.
2.1. Prices include VAT where applicable and are stated in Euros (€). The applicable price is the one stated at the time of your registration.
2.2. The €1 trial fee is a one-time, non-refundable payment, intended to provide limited access before the recurring billing period begins.
2.3. Payments are processed via our payment provider (e.g., WooCommerce, Stripe, PayPal), and you agree to their terms as part of using our services.
2.4. If a payment fails or is reversed, we reserve the right to suspend access until payment is received.
3.1. Membership content is intended for personal, non-commercial use only. Redistribution or public sharing of materials without our written consent is prohibited.
3.2. We reserve the right to make changes to membership content, structure, and features, provided these changes do not unreasonably disadvantage you.
If you are a consumer residing in the EU or EEA, you have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
To exercise this right, you must inform us (contact details below) by means of a clear declaration (e.g., email or letter).
If you request to access the membership immediately and then withdraw, you may be required to pay a proportionate amount for the services already provided during the trial.
5.1. You can cancel your membership at any time via your account dashboard or by contacting us. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds are given for unused time.
5.2. If you cancel during the €1 trial period, no further charges will occur.
5.3. We reserve the right to terminate your membership in case of misuse, non-payment, or violation of these Terms.
We shall only be liable for intent and gross negligence. For minor negligence, we are liable only in case of breach of material contractual obligations (cardinal duties). In such cases, liability is limited to foreseeable damages.
These Terms are governed by German law. If you are a consumer, this does not affect any mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence.
