German can be a notoriously difficult language to learn, but Tom makes German language learning fun! I looked forward to class every week because it was a supportive, interactive space to learn and practice grammar, vocabulary, and speaking. Tom is very open and creates a comfortable learning environment, so it is easy to ask questions and you don't feel discouraged making mistakes (as we all inevitably do while learning any new language). He also is versatile with different digital technologies for language learning, which is clear with his podcast, YouTube channel, and Instagram content, but this is also present in his classes because we were exposed to games, vocabulary mind maps, and different web resources. I highly recommend Tom to anyone looking to improve their German!
